Monica Carvalho is passionate about creating creative pieces of art that command attention.
She is a Swiss digital artist who lives and works in Berlin. She makes her photomontages in Adobe Photoshop using pictures from her portfolio and models (herself, friends, or family) as well as pictures of landscapes she has taken while traveling.
She likes to play around with different textures and colors in her photo manipulations. She does this by looking for patterns in her artistic photos. For example, the sand on a beach in the Bahamas was the same color as her stomach, making it perfect for a photo collage.
She wants to make you stop and give you a glimpse of a different world. The way she put her craziest ideas into action!
