Underneath the ocean’s surface, there are a plethora of mysteries waiting to be discovered. Despite the fact that the oceans cover 71 percent of the Earth’s surface, we still know very little about their inhabitants. Despite the fact that seas account for the majority of the planet’s ecology, they have yet to be thoroughly investigated. Even though we’re getting ready to send rovers to Mars, we still have a lot to learn about our own planet.
However, there are a few people who can shed light on the secrets that lay beneath the waves.
One of the participants is Roman Fedortsov, a Russian photographer and deep-sea fisherman.
When he comes across some of the most amazing species in his line of work, he takes pictures of them and posts them online, where they quickly become viral due to their peculiar beauty and fascinating creepiness. Take a look at this fisherman’s photographs here and here.
