Tristan Zhou is a photographer, videographer, and cat lover residing in Seattle, Washington. He has won several awards for his work. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the Shanghai Institute of Visual Art and his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Filmmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute. At the present time, he works as a freelancer for a variety of persons and businesses.
In his photographic series titled “the Monster Building,” he magnifies cityscapes in order to conjure up images of a dystopian future that is overrun by urbanization. He began working on this project in the beginning of 2019, and the majority of the shots were taken with a wide-angle lens before being augmented in post-production to give the impression of infinity.
