Homeless Man Bravely Jumps Over A Bridge To Save His Rabbit, Which Was Thrown By A Young Man

Gary Kearney, a 20-year-old from Crumlin, Dublin, England, got four months in jail for cruelly and intentionally throwing John Byrne’s rabbit off a bridge.

Regional media reported that John Byrne was asking for food and alms on the famous O’Connell bridge with his dog Lily and his rabbit Barney. Kearney walked up to him without saying anything, picked up the rabbit for no reason, and threw it into the river. Being so shocked by Kearney’s cruel action, John decided on the spot to bravely jump over the bridge and run after his rabbit to save him. He didn’t give it much thought. Soon after, the Crumlin, Dublin Fire Brigade came and saved them both.

Byrnes was happy when he saved his rabbit and said, “I wouldn’t have left him there.” I had to grab him quickly, I had to get him… I kissed him while I caught him under the bridge.

His story has moved thousands of people across the country, and many have reacted by giving him food and money. Later, the Animal Rights Action Network (Aran) in Dublin, Ireland, gave John Byrne the Compassionate Citizen Award. This showed how brave and selfless he was by praising his act.

Since then, the owner of an animal farm in Tipperary, Ireland, has offered John Byrnes a job. He has three dogs and has been hungry since he was 14.

Finishing this story in a way that makes sense.
